Roboteon’s Certified SAP EWM Integration

Roboteon’s Robotics Fulfillment Platform delivers powerful integration capabilities to connect robots and other warehouse automation to Warehouse Management (WMS) and ERP systems. Roboteon has taken integration to the next level with SAP, achieving certified integration with EWM Warehouse Management S/4HANA Cloud.

The interfaces built by Roboteon to EWM were certified in June 2024 by the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) after a rigorous testing process.

With the Roboteon platform, companies can plan, simulate and deploy greenfield or brownfield automation projects. They can also design automation strategies in a mixed SAP landscape: part or fully automated, or fully manual operations looking to automate (see graphic below). The solution expands upon the capabilities of SAP Warehouse Insights and SAP Warehouse Robotics, which are being sunset.

A Wide Array of Benefits

SAP customers will benefit from the integration through the ability to leverage the combination of the order fulfillment strategies offered upstream by EWM and optimized execution downstream by Roboteon, routing EWM warehouse orders and tasks for optimized execution to the right automation pools, depending on real-time conditions.

Those automation pools include Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), robotic picking, ASRS, and other high-density storage and picking systems.

In addition, the Roboteon platform supports other, more traditional MHE systems including sorters, pick-to-light, put-to-light, and goods-to-person systems.
