A technology in which batch-picked items are distributed or "put" into a structure that features a set of slots or "cubbie holes." When all the items for an order have been placed into the wall, a light on the back indicates it is ready to pack, which an operate completes. Some MHE vendors are now using robots to perform the putting task.
