What is a Goods-to-Person System?

A general term for several types of fixed and mobile materials handling systems in which goods in a distribution center are brought directly to a worker for picking instead of workers traveling the facility to execute the picks, which in many cases can be more efficient. Often involves Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) or shuttle systems to deliver the goods to the  worker.

About Roboteon

Automated picking of objects in a bin using a robotic arm powered by 3D cameras mounted on cameras or overhead. 3D vision enables the robotic arm to identify and retrieve various objects in the bin irrespective of the location or orientation of the objects.
